Walking our dog is a great activity to enjoy, spending quality time with them as they explore the outside world, but sometimes life can get in the way and we can find it hard to afford the time to get out with our dogs. Hiring a dog walker to take your pet out during the day to get some fresh air and stretch their legs is a great option, taking any stress off your mind that your dog is getting cabin fever and allowing your pets to socialize with other people. You can now stay back late at work or go out with friends without having to feel bad about leaving your furry pal behind.
The safety of your dog and our walker are our top priorities. Before any walking is done we discuss the characteristics and needs of your pet, getting a better understanding of how they interact with other dogs and people. The last thing we want is your pet or our walkers being put in harm's way, so we come up with a walking and pet sitting plan to suit each individual pet. All our walkers are equipped with important training to know how to handle high-stress situations that can happen on a walk, so you know your pet is in safe hands with us.
Pets of different sizes all need different levels of care, a Chihuahua isn't going to need to go for the same distance walk to a German shepherd, so it's important for us to establish the limits of your dog and how they will get the most out of their walks. If it is just a leisurely stroll to let them out of the house to stretch their legs or if they need a long walk to burn off energy, we can develop a plan for you and your dog. Catering for every individual need is what makes our service so valuable.
Dogs are social creatures, and we understand some dogs need to be around others to help let off steam and socialize. This isn't the case for all dogs though, it's important to respect the boundaries of your pet and if they don't get along well with other dogs or people we can endeavor to cater to that need. During our interview with you, we can discuss just how your dog interacts with the world around it so we can establish it's social needs. Whether your pet thrives from quiet, solo walks or trips to the dog park, we'll make sure they get just want they want.
Food and Treats
Some dogs can have very sensitive stomachs, and with many different diets available now for our pets, it is important to make sure they're getting consistent meals. If your dog suffers from allergies, or you're keeping them on a very strict diet, it can be harmful to the health of your pet if they're given a treat they shouldn't eat. That's why we establish ahead of time the diet of each individual pet we walk , so if you'd like us to feed them or give them treats we can make sure it fits within the guidelines set by you initially.
